DisplayBatch

This function makes it easy to make actions on multiple displays.


How to add displays by the 'DisplayBatch' function:

 

  • Upload a file with serial numbers arranged as shown in the picture below
  • Click " Upload". 

This will input the data from the file into the display list window.

Or 


  • Select the 'Add Display'.
  • Scan or type the serial numbers.


When you have all the displays select the action - Add Display as shown in the screenshot above.

(remember you should be as close to the main antenna as possible when adding displays to the system, otherwise it will not work) 

  • A pop-up message comes up
  • Click 'OK'



  • Close the 'Displaybatch' window 

Check the displays and their status . 

Note: Initially while the jobs are run, status will be shown as 'Queued'.



After the jobs are done,

  • Refresh the display page
  • Check the status 'Okay', which means the displays has been added successfully.



How to delete displays by 'DisplayBatch' function:


***Beware this function is not used often, as this deletes the display and its configuration from the system***.

  • Upload a file with serial numbers 
  • Click " Upload". 

This will input the data from the file into the displaylist window.

Or 


  • Click "Upload"
  • Scan or type in the serial numbers.


Delete a display: 

  • Type the serial number of the display you want to delete.
  • Click on 'Delete Display' 


A message pops-up 

  • Click 'OK'


  • Type the name of the Installation 
  • Click 'OK' Click 'OK'
  • Close the 'DisplayBatch' window.



How to run a Force Update by 'DisplayBatch' function:


  • Upload a file with serial numbers
  • Click " Upload". 

This will input the data from the file into the display list window.

Or

  • Click " Upload".
  •  Scan or type in the serial numbers.


How to force update a display:

  • Type the serial number of the display you want to force update.
  • Click on 'Force Update'


  • A message pops-up 
  • Click 'OK'
  • 'Close' the 'DisplayBatch' window.
  • Check the jobs for the status 

Wait until the jobs are done.

  • Check the display for the force update. 

The screen will start flashing and

The display will be updated with the product details.


How to 'Release' by 'DisplayBatch' function:

  • Upload a file with serial numbers.
  • Click " Upload".

This will input the data from the file into the display list window.

Or


  • Click " Upload".
  • Scan or type in the serial numbers.

One display will be 'Released'.

  • Type the serial number of the display you want to unassign a product from a display.
  •  Click on 'Release'

A message pops-up 

  • Click 'OK'

  • 'Close' the 'DisplayBatch' window.





Check the jobs for the status 

  • Check the display for the release /Unassign the product . 
  • The screen will start flashing 
  • The product is unassigned from the display.


How to 'Ping' by 'DisplayBatch' function:

  • Upload a file with serialnumbers
  • Click " Upload". 


This will input the data from the file into the displaylist window.

  • Click "Upload" 
  • Scan or type in the serial numbers.

Here you can see an example where two displays will be 'Pinged'.

  • Type the serial number of the displays you want to ping.
  • Click on 'Ping'

  • Close the 'DisplayBatch' window.
