1. Remember TO TEST SOME DISPLAYS WHEN YOU MOVE THE INSTALLITON TOP A NEW SERVER.

Move the installation across servers using utility: Support Breece Installation Mover

D:\BreeceCloud\Backup\20180801 (pre 1.8)\Files\Tools\Support.InstallationMover on server dps154


Both source and destination server has to be configured in InstallationMoverConfiguration.xml


  1. Select source server
  2. Select source installation
  3. Select destination server
  4. Select destination installation group
    The destination installation group has to exists before the utility is started.


Content which is transfered:

  • Antenna
  • Displays
    • Assignments including audit.
    • Display preview images
  • Vision (but the devices needs to be reconfigured with new URL)
  • Products
  • Configuration (Group configuration is not moved, only installation configuration)
  • Dynamic installations (only on installation)
  • Designs (only on installation)
  • Definitions (only on installation)
  • Users which has direct access to the installation (not group configured users)
  • Plugins
  • Scheduled tasks


Content which is NOT transfered

  • Mobile devices
  • Queue
  • Historical data (product imports...)


If any jobs in queue doing the move will not be transferred or completed, it is recommended not to move and installation with active jobs.




Update FTP server configuration for datafeed

  1. Connect to DPS154 which runs the FTP server
  2. Find the correct user and update the Home Directory path.
    1. Delete current Virtual Directory
    2. Add new Virtual Directory
    3. Assign permissions to directory
