With the Breece Explorer interface, you can control your Breece System on-premises installation. The software talks to the Breece server and enables you see and give the Breece server commands. The Breece server will handle all the communication with the displays. This enables you to control the Breece system from multiple points. Either from a desktop via Breece Explorer or Breece Mobile solution.

When logging into Breece Explorer you need to create a server profile. Click “new” and write the Hoste name (IP-address) of the server. If the Explorer is installed on the Breece server, use the Default IP-address 127.0.0.1. If you have installed the Explorer on your local desktop, write the IP-address on the server.


The standard user profile is:

User:  BreeceUser

Password:  Br33c3Us3r


When server and user information has been filled out press connect.s connect.

General views

In the bottom of the Explorer, you can always see how the current jobs are processed. We have 2 status categories. Queue status that shows where in the process a specific display is. Queue job status that shows the amount of different jobs in queues.

The System overview gives you an overview of the state of the system.


System status

In System status, you can find general information on the system. There are four categories in the System status section. Comms, Displays, Last updates and Database.

In Comms, you can see how many Bounce/Dynamic communicators that are connected to the system.  


Displays show the general display status. How many displays in queue, how many displays in the system and how many products in the system.

Last updates show the last update time of some key elements. Last design update, Last product update, Last display update and Last event update.

In the database section, you can track the size off your Breece database.


Notifications

In the Notifications window, you will find a list of all failed displays. The Status message will give you an idea of why the display are in the list.


You can export the list to either a pdf or a csv file. Click on the pdf and csv icons in the upper left corner in the notifications window. blob1478008758199.png


Actions

When you have a display on the notifications list you need to handle it. Depending on the status there are different procedures to get the display up and running again. When you right click on a display in the notifications list you have access to diffrent actions. select the action that suits your need.


Copy Display Serial no.
Copyies the selected serialnumber to the clipholder.
Copy product no.
Copyies the selected productnumber to the clipholder.
Release from product
Realeases the display from the attached product.
Delete
Deletes the display from the system.
ReConfigure
Reconfigures the network and system configurations on the selected display.
ForceUpdate
Updates the selected display, even if no information has changed.
ReConfigure all
Reconfigures the network and system configurations on all displays in the notifications list.
ForceUpdate all assigned
Updates all displays in the notifications that is attached to a display, even if no information has changed.
ForceUpdate all
Updates all displays in the notifications list, even if no information has changed.


Common Status messages

Failed radio coverage check

The display is out of range off the antennas or is unable to get in contact with the antenna.

Solution: Make sure the display is in range off an antenna, Force update the display.

 

Failed to network configure display

When the display is added to the system the system will network configure the display. If this network configure fails the display will recive the message.

Solution: Place the display near the main antenna and Reconfigure the display.

 

Product does not exist

If the display is attached to a product that is later removed.

Solution: Make sure the product is loaded into Breece.

 

Low battery

When the display is about to run out off battery.

Solution: Change batteries on the display.

 

Display status

The Display status show you a overview of all the display in the system. How many that are attached to a product. How many that is released for a product and is ready for use. How many that is bieng processed.you can follow the process in the Queue status. And how many displays is failed, these displays will appear in the notifications list.


Product status

The Product status show you a overview of all the products in the system. You can see how many that are assigned and unassigned.

Display S/N:

You can type a serialnumber or select a display from the list in the Display window.


Display History:

This will open a window that shows the communication history for the display.


Assignment history:

This will open a window that shows the assignment history for the display.


Product attached:

Show the current attached products. You can use the dropdown to select between the different products attached to the display. Use the arrow to go to the product view of the selected product.


Product description:

Product name.


Status time:

Date and time of the last status.


Status message:

Shows the current status message off the display.


Ping status:

Shows the Last ping status.


Battety status:

Shows the current battery status off the display.


Temperature:

Shows the current temperature off the display.


Last antenna:

shows the antenna that the display last had contact with.


Actions

Ping
Pings the display.
Force Update
Force updates the display.
Attach to product
Will change the Display Actions to “Attach display to product” and insert the serialnumber. Type the product and click perform to add the display to queue.
Release from product
Realeses the product from the display.
Delete Display
Removes the display from the system.


Layout:

Shows the current layout definition in use on the display.


Display Image Preview:

Displays The current image displayed on the display.

You have two options to filter your search

In the dropdown you can select if you want to see all, failed, displays with product attacheh or displays that are ready to use. 

By clicking the arrow down button you can filter display on display serialnumber.

You can clear the filter by clicking the "Clear custom search filter" button.


Actions

By right clicking on a display in the display list you have access to different actions you can perform on the display.

Copy display Serial no.
Copyies the selected serialnumber to the clipholder.
Attach to product
Will change the Display Actions to “Attach display to product” and insert the serialnumber. Type the product and click perform to add the display to queue.
Realease from product
Realeases the display from the attached product.
Delete display
Deletes the selected display from the system.
ReConfigure
Reconfigures the network and system configurations on the selected display.
ForceUpdate
Updates the selected display, even if no information has changed.

Enter the display serialnumber and click Perform

Display status

Product lookup

In the Product lookup window you can get detailed information on a single Product.

Product number:

Search on a product or Reorder code(if enabled)

Reorder code:

The reorder code enables you to lookup products with for example an internal order number.

 

Example:

ENA(Product number field): 1234568792122

Product name: Name

internal order number(Reorder code): 123456

 

You can now lookup the product on both the EAN number and the internal order number.


Product descripion:

The product description is selected from the product import.

Last product update:

Timestamp of the last update on the display .


Designpages:

Each display can hold up 2 Designs. The design is setected from the product import.

  • Design page 2

Display(s) attached:

Show the current attached dispalys. You can use the dropdown to select between the different displays attached to the product. Use the arrow to go to the display view of the selected display.


Field name / Field content:

Shows a table of all the fields in an product and the content in the selected product.


Products

In the Products window you have a list of all products in the system. There is 50 displays on each page. In the top rigth corner you have a count off all displays.


You have two options to filter your search

  • In the dropdown you can select if you want to see all, Products attached to displays, Unused products or products with a unique reorder code. 
  • By clicking the arrow down buttons you can filter products on productnumber, Description, Design page 1 or Reorder code. 


Last product update

The last product update window gives you a overiview off the last product update. Here you can see how much have changed on the update.

The import started/ended gives you data and time of the last update.


Import status gives you the status of the current product update.


When clicking on the book icon you have access to the import history. Here you can see import path, size, import created, import started, import ended, status and type for each import.


Product status

The Product status show you a overview of all the products in the system. How many that are attached to a display and how many that are unassigned. You can alsow see the total product product count and the date and time of the last time a product was updated.
